San Diego has been even sudsier than usual lately, as over 500 beer events—including special dinners, brewery tours, and pint nights—took place all over the city during the 4th annual San Diego Beer Week. Crowds clamored to the sold-out closing event, the SDBW and Chef Celebration Beer Garden at Torrey Pines. The tasting event partners local craft breweries with San Diego's top chefs to create a food and beer pairing. Beer samples and bites are unlimited, so it's no surprise that the event sells out every year.

This year, 11 chefs took part, creating an eclectic menu that ranged from crowd-pleasers like sticky baby back ribs to more elegant bites of smoked razor clams. See all of the beer pairings in the slideshow!
