Slideshow: My 5 Favorite Cereals So Far This Year

Yogurt Burst Cheerios
Yogurt Burst Cheerios
In our great exploration of all things Cheerio, Yogurt Burst was one of the last kinds I was expecting to love. With golden classics like Honey Nut and Multigrain and flashy newer varieties like Fruity and Frosted, I overlooked the demure Yogurt Burst Cheerios. The O's themselves have that simple sweetness like the non-marshmallow pieces in Lucky Charms, and the "strawberry yogurt" covered O's are both bountiful and surprisingly tasty. (Full review here.)
Cinnamon Corn Pops (Canada Only)
Cinnamon Corn Pops (Canada Only)
This delicious Canadian cereal is closer to Mini Cinnamon Churros than anything even close to resembling original Corn Pops. These little balls of cinnamon goodness will rip the roof of your mouth to shreds, but trust me, it's worth it. I wish this one was on American shelves! (Full review here.)
Honey Comb
Honey Comb
I really can't express enough that none of us are eating enough Honey Comb Cereal. Well, I know for sure that I'm not and I can pretty much guess none of you are either. Can we all agree to just go out and buy a box today? It's light and airy, perfectly sweet and crunchy and one of the most underrated cereals out there. (Full review here.)
Just Bunches
Just Bunches
Is it cereal? Is it granola? Is it candy? It's just...Bunches. I caught Serious Eats Overlord Ed Levine eating a bowl of this with a splash of half & half. His exact words were "this is serious." Purchase with caution. You will put away 500 calories in Bunches before you can blink an eye. (Full review here.)
