Nutella, milk, and toasted hazelnuts.
Greek Yogurt and Berries
Greek yogurt, honey, berries (we used the frozen kind), granola (or Kashi nuggets in this case)
Swirl the peanut butter and jelly into the oatmeal, then add an extra dollop of each on top.
Instant coffee crystals, brown sugar, a little milk (or however you take your coffee).
Instead of Regular Milk...
Try pouring in some sweetened condensed milk for a sweeter, richer, creamier oatmeal experience.
Banana Bread Oatmeal
Banana slices, honey, and brown sugar. Some chopped walnuts on top wouldn't be out of place here either.
Oatmeal à la mode
A scoop of chocolate ice cream, sprinkles (chocolate and rainbow, because why not), sugar, and milk.
Crushed oreos and lots (emphasis on lots) of creme to thicken up the oatmeal base.
Bourbon, crispy bacon bits, maple syrup, and toasted pecans.
Soy Sauce and Scallions
Soy sauce, scallions, and a drop of sesame oil. This is a great gateway to the world of savory oatmeal.
Brown Butter, Fried Sage, Ricotta
Brown a couple of tablespoons butter, add sage, fry it, add lemon juice, stir into oatmeal with fresh ricotta and lemon zest.
Squash, Sage, Bacon
Cook bacon until crisp, then remove from pan. Then cook squash cubes in the bacon fat. Add sage, lemon, and salt.
Lots of fresh shaved parmesan, black pepper, and olive oil on top of oatmeal that's been thickened up with cream. And a poached egg on top, let the yolk ooze. Because everything is better with an egg on top.
Bacon and Cheddar
Pretty simple: just some crisp bacon and cheddar cheese. Scallions too if you have them.
Dried chilies, coconut milk, dried unsweetened coconut, toasted cashews, scallions, sugar, and soy sauce. This one disappeared the fastest at SEHQ.
Fresh corn kernels cooked in olive oil over high heat until blackened in spots, jalapeños, scallions, cotija cheese, cilantro, chili powder, lime juice, and salt.
Greek yogurt (or labne), pine nuts, pita chips crumbles, lemon juice, sumac, lots of olive oil, and salt.
Sautee garlic in olive oil, then add spinach until wilted. Stir into oatmeal with salt and squeeze lemon juice on top.
Spicy, Beefy Jerky Oatmeal
Beef jerky and sambal (or Sriracha would do the trick) mixed in with salt and mint.
