Food at the Sweetlife Festival: Taim Mobile, Luke's Lobster, Roberta's Pizza

We're getting pumped for the Sweetlife Food + Music Festival on April 28 at Merriweather Post Pavilion in Columbia, MD. The Shins, Avicii, Kid Cudi, Fun., Explosions in the Sky, and many other bands will be there. We've been helping the Sweetlife folks curate the food selection and it's going to be mighty tasty. Over the next couple of weeks we'll show you just how tasty with more menu details—and in each post, you'll have the chance to win tickets!

Today we'll tell you about some of our New York friends who are heading down to the festival with us: the Taïm Mobile truck, Luke's Lobster, and Roberta's mobile pizza oven.

Taïm Mobile will be selling their harissa falafel sandwich with hummus, chopped Israeli salad, pickled cabbage, and tahini sauce, all in a fluffy toasted pita. You'll also be able to get their awesome French fries served with homemade saffron aioli. Inside the truck, they'll be wizzing up smoothies in three flavors: date-banana-lime with soy milk, strawberry-raspberry-Thai basil, and pear-mint-lemon.

At the Luke's Lobster table, you'll find their three classic rolls: lobster, crab, and shrimp. A quarter pound of fresh-off-the-Maine-boat lobster (knuckle and claw meat) goes into their lobster roll on a buttered split-top bun with a splash of melted lemon butter and a dash of secret spices. Luke's is already building a fan base in the DC-area, opening their first location in Penn Quarter almost a year ago, with another one in Bethesda opening this summer.

And if you see a pizza oven driving down I-95, wave to the Roberta's folks, who will be slinging pies from their mobile pizza oven at the festival. A little taste of Brooklyn in Maryland.
