Video: Chef Sean Brock's Vegetable Farmer in South Carolina

When the Perennial Plate cross-country road trip took us through South Carolina, we asked Sean Brock, the chef at Husk, what farmers to meet near Charleston; he recommended the Joseph Fields Farm.

The land has been in the Fields family for three generations and has moved from organic to conventional farming and back again. Joseph gave us a tour of the area as well as a taste of his baby squash and collard greens. In this video, we tried to capture the spirit and personality of the Joseph and his farming philosophy.
