Seriously Delicious Holiday Giveaway: Filet Mignon Roast from Pat LaFrieda Meats
We're giving away another crazy good food item today on Serious Eats. Try your luck!
We're back with another holiday giveaway that should have you salivating. Today we're giving one lucky winner this beautiful chateaubriand, a two-pound filet mignon roast from the good folks of Pat LaFrieda Meats. It's pasture-raised, grass fed and grain finished, and 100% Black Angus. It'd be quite a festive meal for three or four people.
To enter to win, all you have to do is tell us in the comments section below about your favorite cut of meat. Filet mignon (aka beef tenderloin)? Skirt or flank steak? Tell us!
And if you are cooking filet mignon this holiday season, read this beef primer first and here's an Eric Ripert recipe for roasted tenderloin with red wine butter sauce that you can easily serve (and impress folks) in about an hour, including resting time, with some simple herb-roasted potatoes.
You have until 1 p.m. ET tomorrow (December 31) to enter. One winner will be chosen at random from among the commenters. Contest winners are limited to residents of the continental U.S. You can only win once during the duration of the Seriously Delicious Holiday Giveaway contest, and only enter once per giveaway post. The standard Serious Eats contest rules apply.
