To celebrate the magazine's twenty-fifth year, Behr has curated a cookbook of his most beloved recipes. The Art of Eating Cookbook is a book of traditional recipes, both French and Italian, each dish complete with well-researched notes from Behr about technique, place, and significance. It's a collection of classic recipes that are timeless in their deliciousness.
For this week's Cook the Book we'll be serving up an Edward Behr approved menu of favorites including a simple Provençal Beet Salad with Anchovies, Sicilian Swordfish with Olives, Celery, Garlic, Vinegar, and Mint and Carbonade à la Gueze, beef braised in sour beer.
