Congratulations to Our Barbecue Haiku Winners!

Last week we announced a giveaway where we'd feed your whole Super Bowl party with pulled pork, ribs, and beans from the incredible 17th Street Barbecue in southern Illinois—but only if you could craft the best barbecue haiku.
A quick poetry refresher: haikus have 17 moras broken into three phrases: 5, 7, and 5 syllables respectively.
The folks at SEHQ voted on their favorite 'cue 'kus. Thank you to everyone who entered! It was a very tough call. The three winners have been contacted and appear on our Contest Winners page. (Note to their friends: try to score an invite to their Super Bowl parties.)
Ahem, in our best poetry-reading voices, here are the winners:
I did not claw my
way to the top of the food
chain to eat lettuce
Like leaves in autumn,
and tender meat from the bone,
The Patriots fall.
Sauce stains on my face
Bloated friends full on the floor
Make this possible
