For last week's Weekend Cook and Tell we asked all of you to break out the flour, butter, and sugar in honor of holiday cookie season. Our plan was to do a little vicarious baking by heading into your kitchens to see what sorts of cookies all of you were pulling hot and fresh from the oven. Here's a peek at some of your sweetest batches.

A warm combo of cayenne and ginger spiced up claireOOTO's dashing Chocolate Covered Reindeer Cutout Cookies.

Erin_in_AR had a full weekend of cookie baking. Her cookie roster included Smitten Kitchen's Jackson Pollack Iced Oatmeal Cookies, dark chocolaty Chocolate Peppermint Crinkle Cookies, Chai-Spiced Snickerdoodles, and a grownup version of Rice Crispy Treats using salted brown butter.

zahavah likes her chocolate chip cookies even better with almond butter which adds not only nuttiness but moisture that keeps these Not So Traditional Chocolate Chip Cookies nice and chewy.

snucci has been baking up some real show-stoppers, just take a look at these Sparkling Peppermint Sugar Cookies and Whoopie Pie Pops rolled in crushed candy canes.

mangotomato asked "what's not to like about cookies?" and we have to say, nothing at all, especially when you're mangotomato, baking up batches of Dry Tart Cherry, Nuts, and Chocolate Chip Cookies, Pistachio Butter Cookies, and Homemade Milanos.

dbcurrie's kitchen had turned into a veritable cookie and she just can't stop (which is fine with us). Get a load of her Almond Chocolate Chips, Oatmeal Cookies, cookie-cutter-ready Spice Cookies, and these awesome Chocolate Chip Cookies adapted from the Serious Eats book.

May_be has yet to do any baking this year but if last year was any indication there are sure to be good things to come, maybe even a repeat batch of Dorie Greenspan's World Peace Cookies.

Thanks to everyone who shared their swappable cookies this week's Weekend Cook and Tell challenge. Be sure to head over to Talk and read about next week's challenge: Gift Guide.
