Ad sales coordinator Leandra only works while clutching onto a precious box of cereal when we receive a shipment of Rice Krispies Treats Cereal. It's a semi-discontinued variety that is very hard to find in stores.. but thank you Amazon! Did we buy them in bulk from a creepy dude on his couch who resells hard-to-find cereals? It's very possible.

All the way from St. Petersburg, Florida! St. Pete Bagel is a family-owned kosher bagel bakery that's been operating since 1987. They recently launched an online bagel store where you can order Everythings or Cinnamon Raisins (or any of these flavors) and have them delivered (overnighted or 2-3 day shipping) if you live in a bagel desert and find yourself missing the NY-style bagels.

We tried 14 brands of salt and vinegar chips. It was questionably fun. Well, here's the question. Would you define getting your taste buds vinegar-blasted as fun? Don't our three interns look like they're having fun?! (Shell's face in the middle pretty much says it all.)

A box was delivered by Brooke from Prohibition Bakery, "a boozy cupcakery." Cake plus alcohol, we're pretty happy with that equation, and some of these are actually really darn boozy. You're looking at Pretzels and Beer (made with Bass pale ale, Nutella, and crushed pretzels on top), Irish Car Bomb (hello there whiskey! and Bailey's and stout), the obligatory Bacon one (with bittersweet chocolate and toffee), Sex on the Beach (peach, vodka, cranberry), and Strawberry Daiquiri (strawberry, rum, lime).

The carpet under our intern desk is the perfect place for a puppy snooze. Hambone confirms such on a regular basis.

A few hours later ON THE SAME DAY, more mini cupcakes coincidentally showed up. You now what they say, when it rains mini cupcakes, it pours. These were from Baked by Melissa. What a life we lead with our excessive supply of mini cupcakes. What a life. In case you're wondering how they compared in terms of mini-ness, these were mini-er. A literal bite's worth, as opposed to Prohibition Bakery's, more of a bite and a half.

Shell and Robyn finished up their Chinatown egg custard tart taste test with some flavored tarts from Natalie Bakery. Result: a rainbow heap of not-so-good tart leftovers. (Their regular tarts are fine. Don't mess with the original!)

SENY editor Carey is out in Napa this weekend on a wine trip. She woke up at 6 AM this foggy California morning for fresh-made corn tortillas between the vines. As much as you value sleep, you'd probably agree this is on the worth-getting-up-for list.
