Market Scene: Brookline Farmers' Market in Brookline, MA

The Brookline Farmers' Market is one of the best established and most popular markets in the Boston area. It's easy to reach by public transit or car and draws shoppers from a wide area.

Some vendors, like Stillman's Farm, are at a number of markets throughout the week. They bring a wide selection of produce plus eggs, meat, and poultry to Brookline.

Others, like "Cindy The Fish Lady", who only come to Brookline, make this market special and a must stop for me each season. Other locations may have fish from the same company, but they don't have Cindy with her ready smile, deep knowledge of the seafood she sells, and endless suggestions for preparing it.
