Cook the Book: 'Latin Grilling'
Continuing our grilling exploration beyond the world of burgers and dogs, this week we're journeying south with Lourdes Castro's Latin Grilling, country-by-country look a the varied grilling cultures of the Caribbean and Central and South America.
Castro is an entertainer at heart, and Latin Grilling is all about cooking for a crowd. By organizing chapters into full menu plans including cocktails, starters, mains, sides, and dessert, as well as including incredibly helpful cooking and shopping timelines, recreating Castro's fabulously festive Yucatecan Barbecues, Brazilian Rodizios, and Patagonian Asados can easily be accomplished in your own backyard. We'll be wrapping chicken in banana leaves for Pollo Pibil, grilling super-sized Cuban Sandwiches, and shucking ears for Grilled Corn and Quinoa Salad.
