Love pasta? Maybe you should move to Austria. An Austrian citizen, Niko Alm, was recently approved to wear a pasta strainer on his head in his driver's license photograph according to this BBC News report. Apparently when Mr. Alm read that only religious headgear was approved in license photos, he filed a petition as a member of the Church of the Flying Spaghetti Monster.

But this guy isn't a lone macaroni-enthusiast, or even a crazy carbaholic. The Church of the Flying Spaghetti Monster is home to a bevy of Pastafarians worldwide (a "pastafarian" is a portmanteau of pasta and Rastafarian in case you needed clarification). I'm not sure if I'd make any kind of religious statement, ironic or otherwise, in my license photo, but I do like the idea of wearing a noodle on my noodle. Maybe next time I'll wear buns on my...Nope. Sticking to my macaroni necklace.
