Last week for our Weekend Cook and Tell Challenge we asked you to open up your backyards and let us take a peek at what was on the grill. Let the Grilling Begin, Part 2 was the follow-up to last year's inaugural grilling season challenge and just like last year, it appears that all of you hosted some pretty incredible Memorial Day grill-a-thons. Let's take a look at some of our charbroiled favorites.

Living in a town where holiday weekends bring a "zombie invasion" of disorderly tourists, Lili13 and stocks up in advance and keeps the grill going all weekend. During this past "invasion" they chowed down on ten-ounce burgers, skirt steak and roasted marinated longhorn peppers, and grilled chorizo tortas with avocado, beans, jalapeƱo, lettuce, tomatoes, and queso blanco.

chileruizstra went all out with an 80-pound borrego (that's lamb for all of you non-Spanish speakers) slaughtered at an aunt's house and broken down for grilling, roasting, and braising. The whole animal feast included plenty of red and green chile, homemade tortillas, sopapillas, and a heated battle to see who gets the prized cheeks, tongue, and eyes, which for the record, chileruizstra has no interest in.

healthytouch10 hosted a grill-centic picnic with Oregano-Marinated Chicken Wings, Nathan's Hot Dogs, Maxwell Street Polish Sausages, and Grilled Corn and Zucchini.

Instead of going with the traditional burgers and dogs Cassaendra opted for a multi-ethnic spread of grilled Copper River Salmon, falafel, tzatziki, and salsa.

CEBakes followed Kenji's advice and grilled up a Thai-style marinated flank steak, corn on the cob with peanut dipping sauce, and Emeril's grilled flatbreads.

Reporting from Canada, Chocolatesa shared last weekend's Victoria Day menu. It was a meat-heavy affair made up of meatloaf-like pork and beef burgers and blood sausage.

Thanks to everyone who shared their Memorial Day grilling menus for this week's Weekend Cook and Tell challenge. Be sure to head over to Talk and read about next week's challenge: Freezer Cuisine.
