Snapshots from Sweden: Roaming Around a Swedish Supermarket
From June 5 to June 11, I visited Western and Southern Sweden on a trip sponsored by Visit Sweden, West Sweden Tourist Board, Skåne Tourist Board, and Volvo as part of their CAR + VACATION contest. Here's a look at something I saw during my trip.
It was supposed to be a quick stop, but by pulling into the parking lot of ICA, one of Sweden's largest supermarket chains (if not the largest), I ensured that I'd be late to my next scheduled destination. Because when I'm in a supermarket outside my home territory, I look at everything and take bright-eyed joy in everyday items like cereal and mayonnaise. Kids love candy stores; I love supermarkets. (...And I also love candy stores.)
Here's a slideshow of some products that caught my eye.
