Plenty of meats are advertised as beer-marinated; in the Drunken Sandwich at Austin food cart DiverCity (get it?), we could actually taste the beer with the short rib. But there's another flavor element that tends to dominate, which we'd guess is Worestershire, or A-1; it's a little too overpowering.
Still, with super-melty cheese and tasty onions meeting the truly sizable hunks of meat, on a just-crusty roll, it's a satisfying sandwich that incorporates elements of a cheesesteak, a torta, and more.
