Classic Breakfast Sandwich
My favorite of the bunch: Egg, cheese, sausage and bacon on a Kaiser roll bun. With two forms of pork, it's gutsy, but delicious.
Sausage, Egg, and Cheese Frescuit
The insides were great, but they overcooked the maple-flavored "Frescuit."
Bacon, Egg, and Cheese Biscuit
The egg tasted much better than a lot of the other egg I've had at fast food joints, and the cheese was melted and gooey. The bacon was hot and crispy, not the cold, chewy variety. The biscuits, on the other hand, were overcooked, and more like a bread than a biscuit.
Sausage, Egg, and Cheese Biscuit
Like its bacon counterpart, the egg tasted delicious and the cheese was nice and melted. The sausage patty also tasted great: lots of pepper and salt, no worse than a Jimmy Dean patty.
Sausage, Egg, and Cheese Burrito
The flour tortillas reminded me of the flavorless ones at McDonald's, but the egg and sausage made up for it. At $0.99, it's not a bad cheap bite.
Much better than its smaller cousin. The tortilla is packed with potatoes, peppers, sausage, fluffy eggs, melted cheese, and bacon—lots of bacon.
It tastes like a Swanson chicken patty on a biscuit, bearing no resemblance to the chicken fillets from the lunch menu. Skip this one, and its burned biscuit.
Biscuits and Gravy
Their Biscuits and Gravy pack lots of pepper, and have nice little chunks of their sausage in them; but the biscuits aren't phenomenal, and the gravy can't hide their bread-like consistency.
A little sugary, and the dough could have been lighter; it didn't beat Cinnabon, but represents a much better attempt than most places that challenge the Cinna-king.
Tasty little rounds of fried potato, they reminded me of tater tots: just the right amount of fry outside, soft and potatoey inside.
