A Sandwich A Day: '#51' at the Back Door Delicatessen, Park City, UT
In this great nation of ours, one could eat a different sandwich every day of the year—so that's what we'll do. Here's A Sandwich a Day, our daily look at sandwiches around the country. Got a sandwich we should check out? Let us know. —The Mgmt.

The ski and resort town of Park City, Utah, may not be a place filled with decent cheap eats, but the sandwiches at the Back Door Delicatessen are mighty fine. There are more than fifty on the menu; I'm partial to the #51, "Dave George"—roast beef embedded in gooey melted provolone with banana peppers and mayo. The toasted French baguette has a tender interior and just enough crunch. And though it's $9 during lunch, a mid-afternoon "sandwich happy hour" gets you a discount.
