28 Cookie Recipes from the Serious Eats Cookie Swap

Cookie swaps are really just an excuse to party and eat cookies. Since we like both of those things, we hosted one at headquarters with some of our contributors and FoSE (friends of..) recently. Your ticket to enter was a few dozen home-baked treats to swap. We let in a few nice-looking moochers too.
Anyone who's been to a cookie swap knows they're as much about sugar-highs and jollyness as they are about competition and cookie sizing-up. We tried to make ours less judgey, but there were still high expectations in a room full of food writers.
