What's on the menu? The favorite tacos are fish tacos with spicy dill yogurt, cast-iron chicken with roasted tomatillo salsa, and quinoa with roasted potato, corn and jalapeno—but we have about seven that are currently in rotation. People also always ask for our elote, watermelon agua fresca, and pineapple-cilantro agua fresca as well.

Location and hours? We're mostly in East Nashville and on 12 South. We are in the process of opening a permanent taco shop on the East Side where we can expand the menu a bit (tamales, soups, licuados, and breakfast tacos) and have regular hours of operation.

How long have you been street fooding? The truck has been open since the summer of 2008.

How has Twitter affected business? Twitter has been an incredible tool both for location and menu postings, since both our schedule and food change daily. I think it's easier for people to use than some of the other community sites.

Why a mobile business over brick-and-mortar? In the beginning it was more cost-effective, starting a business solo can be overwhelming. But you definitely pay in your time and energy.

Who are your typical customers? Not sure how to describe a typical customer, but we definitely have regulars! Most folks say if you like the food, you love it! We definitely hear the word "addicted" on a daily basis.

What makes your food so special? Can anything else like it be found in the city? I think folks like us because we're unique to Nashville, both the truck and the food.

How would you define "street food"? You can eat it with your hands! Yum!

The best street food city and why. New York. Anything and everything from a truck or tiny hole in the wall—could be tucked anywhere and someone will turn it into a restaurant. And folks will come! It's very exciting to eat there!

Your comfort food after a long day? Being from Nashville, hot chicken is a favorite! Definitely a splurge but well worth it!

Advice for an aspiring vendor? It's the best job I've ever had. Very hard work but new adventures every day!
