"People who think they know what's best. Like, my boyfriend likes his steak well done. I think that's gross, but whatever. That's the way he likes it. He's eating it, so I don't care. I'll make it for him like that. It drives me nuts when other people are around and give him crap for it. Or the time when I was out somewhere and ordered a steak rare, and my dining companion told me I was an idiot because you have to cook steak to medium rare to get the fats to start melting and really get the flavor of the meat, and that I was just ordering it rare to look macho. Guess what, I don't care. I like rare stea, first of all, and second of all, I was pretty sure that when I ordered it rare it was going to come out medium, because with he exception of nice steak houses, that's how these things usually go.
