Pork Tacos with Roasted Tomatillo and Corn Salsa. [Photograph: radish]

Last week's Weekend Cook and Tell challenge was a Cinco de Mayo-inspired (better late than never) tribute to tacos: Tacotacular. We wanted to see how all of you filled your tortillas at home. Take a look at some of our corniest (and flouriest) responses.

As a proud owner of a tortilla press, NWcajun insists that homemade tortillas are the only way to go. Even with two little ones at home, NWcajun says that making your own doesn't add a significant amount of time to taco night.

MadelynRodriguez made sprouted corn quesadillas with fresh tomato salsa that ended up looking more like tacos—tacodillas?

radish opted for tacos topped with pork and finished with two types of salsa: a roasted tomatillo version and a corn salsa that was hot enough to make you break a sweat.

An unseasonable cold weekend was the perfect excuse for ElizabethS to braise some beef shanks for these ancho chile-rubbed beef tacos with guacamole.

Lola del Rio coined a new kind of dirty but also delicious term for this week's Cook and Tell—mexting, sending pornographic pictures of Mexican food via cell phone.

Note: Weekend Cook and Tell is taking a week off, so tune back into Talk on May 26 for the next new topic.
