Saturday (January 30)
Secrets of a Restaurant Chef: "Secret to Steak." Anne tackles steakhouse favorites like dry-rubbed ribeye, pommes Anna, and sauteed broccoli rabe, her alternative to creamed spinach. 10:30 a.m. ET, Food Network
Down Home with the Neelys: "First and Ten." This timely episode features lots of Super Bowl party menu ideas: honey mustard chicken wings, meatball sliders, fried calamari with spicy BBQ sauce, and Gina's "Super Punch Bowl" to wash it all down. 11 a.m. ET, Food Network
Paula's Best Dishes: "Company's Coming." Paula and her hubby prepare grilled steak sandwiches, peppery coleslaw with orange chili vinaigrette, onion rings with chipotle dipping sauce, and cherry-chocolate floats. 11:30 a.m. ET, Food Network
Uncorked: Wine Made Simple: Three-hour marathons cover a good chunk of this 2007 series hosted by Ted Allen (of Queer Eye and Chopped). He visits vineyards from California to France, talking with chefs, wine writers and winemakers to learn about the journey from grape to glass.(repeat) 9 a.m. to noon; 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.; 9 p.m. to midnight ET, PBS
Sunday (January 31)
Lidia's Italy: "Sunday Dinner in Emilia-Romagna." Lidia Bastianich highlights specialties of the region, including prosciutto di Parma, anolini in chicken broth, and veal scallopine bolognese. (repeat) 1:30 p.m. ET, PBS
Iron Chef America: "Flay vs. Smith." Canadian TV personality and chef Michael Smith takes on Bobby Flay in Kitchen Stadium. 9 p.m. ET, Food Network
