Should We Keep Chocolate Milk in Schools?

20091112-chocmilk.jpgRaise Your Hand For Chocolate Milk is a new campaign from the National Dairy Council and Milk Processor Education Program to promote keeping chocolate milk in schools and prevent them being banned as schools have done with sugary sodas and candies, reports the AP. Unlike soda and candy though, chocolate milk can be touted for having nutritionally beneficial calcium. Supporters say that the health benefits of chocolate milk outweigh the negative effects of the sugar content, and kids are more likely to drink chocolate over regular milk; the opposition says kids already get enough calcium without chocolate milk, and they don't need more sugar in their diets.

Whose side are you on? Do you think chocolate milk should be kept in schools?
