Video: Philippines Fast Food Mascot Dance-Off — KFC vs. Jollibee

20091007-nobody-dance-off.jpg

I didn't even know KFC had a mascot other than the Colonel, but this video that's been making the rounds shows what's supposedly the KFC chicken (maybe it's a Philippines thing?) having a dance-off with the Jollibee bee to the tune of South Korean girl group Wonder Girls' "Nobody." They've pretty much got the dance down. Videos, after the jump.

And for comparison's sake ...

HAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHA its so girly haha

HAHA! girly indeed.

LOL! Btw, that chicken is also the mascot of KFC here in Mexico, the name is Chicky.

@lvelisse: Why do Mexico and Philippines get a chicken and all we in the U.S. get is some old crusty dude?!? ;)

I wonder if they can get the Jollibee branch in Queens, NYC to have their mascot dance with Ronald McDonald down Roosevelt Ave.

I hate this video, because it makes me remember there's no Jollibee on the East Coast :(

@terplinz: Dunno where you are, but there's one in NYC in Woodside, Queens. 62-29 Roosevelt Avenue, Woodside NY 11377 (map)

I can't believe I am seeing Wonder Girls on seriouseats.
I love this song! They are trying to break out in America by opening for the Jonas Brothers.

also, I love the mascot of JolliBee!

@droostring: We also had a Girls Generation ramen commercial video on the site a few days ago! What can I say, we love K-Pop!
