Video: 'Hot Kitchen' Cook Dishes Up Something 'a Little More Appetizing'

20091021-hot-kitchen.jpg

Move over Steamy Kitchen, now there's Hot Kitchen:

My husband is so sweet. I wanna cook him a romantic dinner. Now, in today's economy, we can't always go out to that romantic meal. Besides, if you stay at home, you have the freedom to ... hmmm ... let's say, wear something a little more appetizing. So join me, and I'll teach you an easy romantic meal that's fun. But first, if you wanna have some fun, go change into something a little more appetizing, and meet me in the kitchen. [Meet Wendy in the kitchen, after the jump.]

Sorry, Wendy. I'm sticking with Steamy Kitchen - she's got a much better wardrobe, cooking techniques and camera presenence.

P.S. Wasn't this on Skinimax the other night?

Do you know what isn't sexy? Cross contamination.

Wendy you talk very well to the camera and you make a nice meal. Other than that - you lost me. Lame

i never realized there was so much downtime between takes on those lowbudget porns.

oh my god, dont get too close to the oven or you and your fake flowers your boyfriend gave u are going to melt LOL :)

Did she really just touch raw meat, then wipe her hands on the kitchen towel?

Posting this here was like throwing chickens at Sigfried & Roy during a show.

Wow. That was...strange?
Her outfit is the worst thing about this, but coming reeaal close was her constantly wiping her dirty hands on that towel. Gross.
So is this food porn, then?

Could you smell the milk scorching to the bottom of the pan?

Mmmm... Tasteful.

Hm. Im wondering how much can be made doing such a thing. Im interested.

It is quite obvious that the people who have written below have not done any research. You all didn't go to their website and actually see that. It is just the two of them doing this show. Trying to spead a little love back into the world. I think their show has a lot of potential. The rest of you on this page below obviously has been along time since you could fit into something even close to what she is wearing. Your jaded image shines through your cheap words. I say keep it up hot kitchen. I found your show very refreshing for this day and age. And I could tell that each episode you have posted has gotten better and better. Don't give up I'm a fan and so is my sister and her husband. Who all think you got something

Just to clarify. The people above

Oh please, the whole thing is ill-conceived and badly done. It doesn't matter whether it's one dude with a Betamovie or the team from CSI shooting it. A badly executed concept is a badly executed concept. What is this supposed to be anyway, cooking for suburban swingers? If the point of the show was to make cooking sexy and or romantic, they have failed miserably. Apart from the trashy outfits there's nothing sexy going on in that kitchen. And what's the point of the outfits anyway? Promoting kitchen injuries? All that exposed skin is just a bad idea. The whole thing is just awkward from start to finish. I'm sure the poor girl is trying her best, and she's actually not so bad in front the camera, but this show doesn't deliver anything beyond icky awkwardness.

Hot kitchen? More like Hot Mess.

@jarvis2 - "Who all think you got something"
EEK a bit passionate are we?

My only issue with the video is the flagrant cross contamination that occurs. She touch the meat and then the spices without hand washing. As many have mentioned she also appears to use one cloth to wipe her hand through the process which is contaminated with raw lamb.

They put themselves out there creatively and I don't fault them for that. As to her wardrobe; While dress/lingerie is not practical I think it's a non-issue. I've fried bacon shirtless because I was too darn lazy to go upstairs and dress appropriately. I doubt I'm the only one. There is no need to be mean to her on a personal level.

PS-about the raw meat on the towel, sorry! I am not usually this careless-I guess I was just caught up in the moment and the excitment of the filming! Thank you!
