Video: Boy Dances After Eating Deep-Fried Butter

20091015-videos-butterboy.jpg

What's inside deep-fried butter balls besides butterfat? Something funky that possesses little boys to break loose and shake it. The Texas State Fair's deep-fried butter (what can't you throw into a deep fryer?) inspires this boy to hunch over and get his boogie on. Are there some sort of deep-fried butter gods controlling his every move? Sure looks like he's under a spell, not to mention the happiest kid ever. The video, after the jump.

That kid is high.

i find this video clip highly disturbing...

In other news - Paula Deen is thinking of adopting him

Haha oh man *shakes head*

Deep fried butter? Another purely American invention.
Boy, we sure love to eat garbage and get fatter and fatter....

That boy is absolutely adorable!!!

Ease up it is the state fair. Abel Gonzalez always tries to find something new to fry up - gets him on the news. Last time it was a pb&j sandwich.

It's nice to let loose every now and then. No one's claiming it's great food, but it's nice to eat junk once a year at the fair. I miss funnel cakes badly...been about 6 years since my last one. Also, fried pickles :)

It's funny because since this is happening in the US and Texas in particular people will say it's redneck and typical US junk or whatever... but I guarantee if someone found a street food vendor in some 3rd world country serving up something similar foodies around the world would be chomping at the bit to try it :D

"Party in your mouth.... who's invited? Everyone" Nope lady, not the grape jelly. This reporter could have tried a little harder.

More disturbing is the large woman in the motorized wheelchair that looks thrilled to be taking one more giant step towards a stroke. Can't understand why people complain about an obesity epidemic.

That reporter makes me a little bit prouder to be American. Seriously.
He's blissfully unaware of his total eccentricity!...and that whole party in your mouth thing was soooo just not okay. And cutting to the fat lady right afterwards? Who edited this thing? Or was the entire state fair like an old fat lady in motorized wheel chair convention?

Ha!

That little kid could teach me a thing or two about dancing though.

I can proudly say that I tried the fried butter this year at the State Fair. The group of guys I went with all had... two helpings of it. It felt wrong, but it was so incredibly good.

It isn't as bad as it sounds either. It tasted just like a warm biscuit with butter in the center!
