20091012-us-regional-hot-dog-t-shirt.png

The T-shirt website shirt.woot! is offering this U.S. regional hot dog styles tee for $10 plus shipping. And, yes, Seattle does indeed have a hot dog style to call its own. [via Janelle]

Michigan has no Hot Dog style. It has a Detroit style that has spread thru the state.

See the link on RELATED above. Dead on. the T-shirt is not close to being correct. Looks like just mustard. Missing the chili and the raw onion.

Guy is probably from New York or Chicago and just took a guess. This is serious people....He needs to get that dog right.

You can actually do free shipping for this, it just takes a bit longer to get there. Knocks the 5 dollar shipping charge off, giving you a sweet tee for $10 even! Its where I do all my shirt shopping :D

Scoreboard44: That's not the only error. The Sonoran hot dog shown is from Tucson, not Phoenix, and it's serious business.

The ten bucks (great deal!) is only until midnight tonight, then it goes to $15 when a newer shirt goes on sale, but you can still get free shipping. I posted about this in Talk last night, and noted that there is also a Ramen-related shirt, and a baked doughboy. I'm not a fan of ramen, but I know a lot of people are...but the doughboy shirt was my favorite.

There's also a bacon one that I didn't like, but if you click around, you'll find it. :-)

For the procrastinators, or those who are thinking of buying for Christmas, just FYI these shirts don't stay on sale forever. Only the top 20 shirts each week are kept for another week, so don't wait too long.

Yeah, the shirt is related to food, but what did the guy use to do his research on this one? He must have went to google image search and hit "I'm feeling lucky. DC is wrong. Do NYC metroers really have that diverse a hot dog palate that they need three times the representation?

Just wanna point out that the "guy" is Lucy Knisley.

Well then this guy Lucy is Wrong.

:)
and we use French's over Plochman's I think.

Now I'm a big Hot Dog fan... and I'm a big woot fan... but I'm disappointed that Carolina wasn't represented! Mustard, Chili, Onions, and Cole Slaw. Sigh... now I'm hungry
