Saturday (October 10)

Today Show: Giada DeLaurentiis cooks on the show. 7 a.m. ET, NBC

Secrets of a Restaurant Chef (warning, a video plays automatically on site): "The Secret to Seared Skate." Coriander-crusted seared skate, spaghetti squash, frizzled Brussels sprouts leaves,and pumpkin-ginger bread pudding. 10:30 a.m. ET, Food Network

5 Ingredient Fix: "French Bistro at Home." A French-inspired meal of duck breasts in citrus port cherry sauce, golden potato and cauliflower gratin, Earl Grey tea cookies, and royal fizz. (repeat) 12:30 a.m. ET, Food Network

Giada at Home (warning, a video plays automatically on site): "Remembering Rome." Giada is inspired to create a nostalgic Italian meal after looking through old photos of her childhood in Rome. Family members visit Giada in the kitchen as she cooks a menu that highlights some of her favorite Italian food memories. (repeat) 1 p.m. ET, Food Network

Barefoot Contessa: "Fast and Fabulous." Ina makes mustard roasted fish, dill fingerling potatoes, parmesan roasted broccoli, and honey vanilla fromage. (repeat) 1:30 p.m. ET, Food Network

Julia and Jacques Cooking at Home: "Creamy Desserts." Crème caramel, crème brulée vie, chocolate pot de crème, and profiteroles with ice cream and mocha anglaise. 4 p.m. ET, PBS

Avec Eric: "Teamwork." Eric explores the importance of teamwork behind in running a four star restaurant. He also goes to Northern California to visits the Melissa Garden Honeybee Sanctuary. Back at home Eric makes a spice crusted duck breast with orange honey glaze and cumin scented carrots. 4:30 p.m. ET, PBS

America's Test Kitchen From Cook's Illustrated: "Super Fudgy Cake." Making a tunnel of fudge cake, tasting boxed brownie mixes, and tips for using your oven for baking. 5 p.m. ET, PBS

Lidia's Italy: "Umbria Family Jewels." Lidia visits the Caprai family and checks out their wine making in Umbria. She explores the Umbrian cuisine and makes sausage on the skillet with grapes. She'll also make meatballs in broth and honey orange crumb cookies. 5:30 p.m. ET, PBS

The Next Iron Chef: "Interpretation." Alton Brown challenges the chefs to their next two challenges, simplicity and interpretation. For the simplicity challenge they have to use a variety of ethnic one-pot cooking devices to make a family-style dish. Then for the interpretation challenge they have to reinterpret classic international dishes. 9 p.m. ET, Food Network

Iron Chef America: "Flay vs. Gordon." Iron Chef Bobby Flay takes on chef Daisy Gordon from Seattle, Washington. 10 p.m. ET, Food Network
