Alas...our PBS affiliates up here in Ct. don't seem to want to televise these new, great shows with Ruth and Eric. How I miss channel 13.

Where's the new Alex G show on FNTV?

Keep searching the tv schedule in vain. Looks like OPB (Portland, OR) will not be broadcasting Reichl's show. Boo! Anyone know why?

@ bessfour: If you're talking about "Alex's Day Off", it premieres next Sunday.

I have no use for the Iron Chef game show but there's a lot of great viewing listed above.
I don't know why TVFN doesn't pimp the 5 Ingredient girl more. She didn't win a lame game show to get on TV and she's got some good ideas.
Just saw a commercial for Alex's Day Off. It's on tomorrow (Sunday, October 18) at 9:30 a.m. eastern.
Anne Burrell rules. If only she'd quit babbling every single move she makes in the kitchen ("going to put this right here"). She needs to settle just a bit but her show content is spot on and she's a good kitchen ambassador.

Thanks Chiff...thought Alex was on tomorrow. I think I can forgive them for taking The Cooking Loft off. Really enjoyed her passion for food.

@ bessfour: Crap, sorry I misread the date.
@ therealchiffonade: Thanks for the correction!

Right place/right time - I was pecking away at my computer here at SE and watching Nigella when the commercial came on for Alex's Day Off...LOL.
