Let's go kids. Maybe Debbie out smarts herself tonight.

Oh, Jamika. TMI!
Alaina Browne at 9:07PM on 07/12/09
Jamika and Debbie both struggled by Jeffery is back to be his star-in-the-making style. Melissa is doingwell, too. Come on, Michael.
WannabeTVchef at 9:09PM on 07/12/09
Melissa says she grew up in a Spanish-speaking household, but why does she sound like Peggy Hill when she hablas the español?
Adam Kuban at 9:09PM on 07/12/09
Jeffrey really is a pro.
Alaina Browne at 9:11PM on 07/12/09
That "Meet me in the Lobby" scene really seemed forced.
WannabeTVchef at 9:15PM on 07/12/09
UGH I feel like this entire episode is a Top Chef rip off.
dixiesong3131 at 9:16PM on 07/12/09
@dixiesong3131: Re Top Chef rip off—right down to the "We headed down to Whole Foods ..."
Adam Kuban at 9:18PM on 07/12/09
Whole Foods is a sponser for both.
WannabeTVchef at 9:20PM on 07/12/09
Jeffery's strategy is clever - let everyone build their own boats and see if they float.
WannabeTVchef at 9:21PM on 07/12/09
@Adam Kuban: let's cook for a pilot and flight attendant in an airport (only they couldn't get Continental to sponsor this show), then let's stay up all night to feed a bunch of drunk partying fools in Miami. What's next: Michael and Debbie secretly making out on a couch?!
dixiesong3131 at 9:24PM on 07/12/09
I still think that Melissa and Jeffery are the only two with any real hope of doing well in their own show. I think Debbie should have been gone at the beginning...hoping that she'll go tonight.
katieo at 9:24PM on 07/12/09
@Adam Kuban I cannot stop laughing, and now I am trying to think of every time Peggy Hill speaks "Spanish"
ElizabethS at 9:29PM on 07/12/09
Michael ain't going to win with all his camera comments.
Alaina Browne at 9:31PM on 07/12/09
Debbie the snake is back.
WannabeTVchef at 9:34PM on 07/12/09
Julie & Julia trailer. Cool.
WannabeTVchef at 9:43PM on 07/12/09
Burn Debbie burn!
WannabeTVchef at 9:51PM on 07/12/09
Wow, I can't believe Debbie tried to pull that over on the judges and in front of her peers.
Alaina Browne at 9:51PM on 07/12/09
Wow, interest in this show is going down like a rock in water.
WannabeTVchef at 9:52PM on 07/12/09
Debbie better be going home.
Alaina Browne at 9:57PM on 07/12/09
I can't believe they kept Debbie, especially after the way she tried to throw the other girls under the bus. Ugh. Next week looks good though....maybe without Asian ingredients she'll actually cook something remotely original.
katieo at 10:00PM on 07/12/09
Aaarrgh Deeebbbbiiiiiie *shakes fist ruefully*
nikonratm at 10:05PM on 07/12/09
That episode blew. Review up soon.
WannabeTVchef at 10:08PM on 07/12/09
Ugh, Debbie.
Adam Kuban at 10:12PM on 07/12/09
@Adam Kuban: Ugh, all of them. ;-)
ElizabethS at 10:17PM on 07/12/09
Review is up. This season is like watching a faucet drip - slow death. http://bit.ly/YsLow
WannabeTVchef at 10:35PM on 07/12/09
@WannabeTVchef: I'm enjoying the video "The Man, The Chef, The Legend." Funny.
Adam Kuban at 1:19AM on 07/13/09
Dang it! You guys with cable! How do we become BFFs?
chinolam at 1:23AM on 07/13/09
Ralph Pagano from Hell's Kitchen season one (2d place) got a cameo in the crowd.
Remander at 1:29AM on 07/13/09
Is the food network really about food?
ebimono at 8:26AM on 07/13/09
How come no one watches the Ralph Pagano travel show, Pressure Cook, instead of this? Grr, Pressure Cook and Pagano and more interesting than most of these people
syannelevovna at 9:24AM on 07/13/09
I loved Pressure Cook, but they took the station away!
flavacrisp at 10:34AM on 07/13/09
that was painful to watch last night.
they all need to be put out to pasture.
i don't like any of them.
they should make the competition more about each of them trying to develop the show they'd like to create for themselves for FN.
teach what actually goes into making a successful program.
i'm so tired of backstabby nonsensical reality shows.
something that's actually sincere and honest would be so much more interesting, y'know?
gastronomeg at 10:36AM on 07/13/09
jeffrey- he is the one that i want to win. he seems like a pro and he's easy to watch.
jamika- she's another one that i don't mind watching, but i don't think that she has the culinary talent to back it up.
melissa- she's very much like robin miller. except that she's very hard to watch. she seems like the controlling, ever so judging mother that I really don't care to see on a weekly basis. I know you like her, but please Bob, don't make her the NFNS.
debbie- oh, what can i say about her? i like watching her, but i think with the editing and what not, she's set up to be the next one to be gone. On top of that, she hasn't shown the southern cooking that I was looking forward to. Along with the 'throwing people under the bus' incidents since episode 1.
homoonah at 10:46AM on 07/13/09
Dear Melissa-
Growing up with a Spanish speaking nanny is NOT the same thing as growing up in a Spanish speaking household. Unless, of course, your parents completely abandoned to to the 24-7 care of the nanny and only saw you on holidays.
