Video: USB-Powered Mini Microwave in Action

Earlier last month we mentioned Heinz's Beanzawave, supposedly the world's smallest microwave—USB-powered to boot. It nukes the individual-serving baked bean Snap Pots packages available in the U.K. Now, thanks to Tiscali News, we've got full-motion video of the thing—after the jump.

Can it heat things other than in their special packaging?

Does it work with noodle or soup cups? How about mugs of water for tea? I don't know why anyone would need a microwave that only works for beans...

I'm with sandmansd. I don't know anyone who eats enough baked beans to warrant having an entire appliance attached to their computer to cook them.

I can't wait for this! My desk would be awesome!

How much does it cost?
