Food trucks aren't a trend. They've been here and all over for years. Yuppie asshole truck patrons are the trend. And thankfully they'll move on to the next trend and leave a hole in the line.

nice try on the sound bite, but i haven't seen paparazzi crowding paris hilton at kogi.
nouveau food trucks are the new slider or whatever new thing "foodies" get their panties in a bunch over. no one with a palate ever got excited over re-packaged fro-yo.

I couldn't agree more with angrywayne. Moreover, I don't think the article mentions the most obvious reason for the increase in food trucks: the prohibitive cost of commercial real estate. These people would have been opening cafes a decade ago.
