The link to the Good Eats episode does not lead to an episode concerned with pretzels. That may or may not be the fault of Food Network.
What can be ascribed to the pigheaded manamgement of Food Network is the staccato buffering. It is still there and it still stinks and it fails to serve any useful purpose that I can ascertain. No one with good sense minds waiting for an online video aimed at instructing an audience to properly buffer.
Food Network management seems to believe that its viewing audience is made up of juveniles suffering from attention deficit syndrome. This is not and never has been true of the majority of any audience and certainly is not true of anyone interested in learning something from Alton Brown.
Note to Food Network! You are destroying yourself by acting on your very poor estimate of your audience.

@ Grumpy Old Man: The links are just links to the shows' mainpages.

So why not a link that goes directly to the episode mentioned? Is that because Food Network has made it impossible to link to a specific episode? If so, it is just another example of their pigheaded approach to addressing their audience.
Here's another funny. BBC uses the same pigheaded approach, but the buffering is tolerable. I still don't like it, but I can watch the F-Word without pulling my hair. Oh, and that data is coming from somewhere in England, right?
Come on, Food Network! Pull your heads out of your asses!

They don't host the entire episodes online but they do have the recipes from each show.
