There are two series premieres this week!
The first is the strangely awesome (or awesomely strange?) Food Party on Tuesday night. The premiere episode has her realizing that she's in love with herself. So she decides to marry herself. Yeah. Tuesday, 11:15 p.m. ET, IFC
Next, on Wednesday it's the premiere of Top Chef Masters. Four famous chefs compete each episode to win donations to their selected charities. The winners of each week then compete for a $100,000 donation to their charity. The first four chefs are Hubert Keller (Fleur de Lys), Christopher Lee (Aureole), Michael Schlow (Radius Restaurant), and Tim Love (The Lonesome Dove Western Bistro). Wednesday 10 p.m. ET, Bravo

Yep, same stupid short cycle buffering. We are so afraid that someone might watch our online videos that we are making them as annoying as they can possibly be. We can't even broadcast a thirty-second commercial without stopping to buffer it a dozen frikkin' times. The audience has no opportunity to review something he or she did not catch. God forbid we should let that happen!
I'm so proud of Food Network I could just cry.
