Cute Paintings of Animals Eating Food

20090618-animalpaintings.jpg

It's time you decorate your home with more paintings of cute animals eating food in ways you wouldn't find in nature. I don't mind pretending that a walrus's tusks are indeed meant to hold bagels or that whales wear bowties while eating muffins. Paintings for $25-$30, from VerySmallAnna on Etsy

No manatees?

Maybe I can get a custom made manatee painting. :)

You can totally get a manatee! And he can be eating whatever you want him to be eating, too.

Thanks so much for writing about my little shop - now I have to get to work and restock a bit!

There you go Robyn--what's your manatee going to be eating? Let me know and I want one for me, and also three more to send to Elmore Leonard, Dave Barry and Carl Hiaasen.
@verysmallanna--congrats on getting some orders (may they be too hellishly big) in this economy. You might read the wacky Naked Came the Manatee by 13 different Florida authors for some inspiration (a chapter was written by each person), a crime drama spoof that just happend to involve a manatee. This particular manatee went by the name of Booger...and was more intelligent than some of the human race he encountered. Keep in mind that you already have an order for 5 manatees now!

These would fit in really well at The Friendly Toast. Ate there recently. It was good. Though a bit expensive for breakfast.

@wumami: I suggested French pastries for a French manatee..why is it French? I dunno! Maybe it's a manatee who's bored with Florida and dreams of making it over to France and gorging on croissants..

...omg I think I have a manatee storybook in the making.

@dhorst If you're serious I would be incredibly honored. I grew up reading Dave Barry. You can put in a request on my Etsy shop or email me at anna@verysmallanna.com...and that also goes for anyone else who is interested in a painting of any animal eating anything.

@roboppy I sketched out the manatee and he is HILARIOUS. And so French!

I hope to have something new in the shop in the next couple of days! :D
