Unofficial 'Support Pork Week'
You cannot get swine flu from eating pork. Repeat: You cannot get swine flu from eating pork. But paranoid shoppers are still cutting back on their pig consumption. So Indrani Sen at the New York Times Diner’s Journal blog declared an unofficial "Support Pork Week" to dispel any lingering fears. Bacon, prosciutto, sausage, pulled pork—eat away.

I think I have eaten pork in one form or another every day for the last month. Or two. Gah.

I'm supporting this by making some spicy pork tacos of my own!

I am having a dinner party on Sat. and serving won ton soup and a pork loin roast wrapped in pancetta. Hope that is supportive enough.

I am eating pork all week. Made some Vietnamese broken rice with pork chops, shredded pork skin, and pork-egg custard!

Love it...I've been saying all along not to confuse eating pork for getting the swine flu. I don't even eat pork and I posted a whole bunch of pork recipes :)
