In Videos: Making Tortellini with Gordon Ramsay

Scott Collins of the Los Angeles Times braved a pasta tutorial with Gordon Ramsay. "Would he try to psych me out, the way he does contestants on the show? Would he tell me I'm worthless and have no self-respect?" Collins was admittedly a little nervous beforehand. And just as he expected, making tortellini with the Hell's Kitchen host—the show's fifth season wrapped up on Thursday—was an expletive-filled culinary experience. The video, after the jump.

Chef Ramsey must live on an airplane. He's got this showboat place in LA, another showboat operation in England at least one restaurant in New York and two or three restaurants in scattered about the UK. The guy has got to be flying in the air or down the road all the cursed time. I don't think there is enough money in the world to make a man drive himself this hard. He's on a mission. Is this the true ryouri-dou? Don't see how it can be the true path for everyone. He is a great sensei, though. I'm glad he made it to television.
