I think I'm the only one that thinks this, but I find Twitter to be utterly annoying.

No, you're not alone, dineomite.

Sad that we should have to hear it from someone wearing shoes like that, but, yes, everyone in our time clearly is retarded.

I am on facebook, but I don't 'twitter.' Facebook to me at least functions as a massive self-updating roladex ... but twitter just seems useless. Sadly, I agree, a lot of today's culture seems kind of retarded (and I'm 23!).

Would you people stop saying "retarded" when you mean "foolish"?
Being mentally retarded, like my daughter, is not a negative. When the word "retarded" is used this way, it becomes one.
I don't mean to open debate on this. If you disagree, just walk on by.

annien: I actually agree with you.

@annien, as much as I agree with you (my youngest sister has Down's Syndrome), I feel like this is one phrase that's just not going to change. I've gotten my friends to stop saying it in my presence, but I can't deny that every once in a while, when I'm really pissed, even I slip up. Maybe it's just a generational thing. I've made it known how I feel about it, now I just shrug and move on.
I do love this picture though -- sent it to my dad this morning. He thinks he's so on top of this technology business; I'm waiting for the email back asking what "twitter" is. =)

No kidding. How does your sister feel when you do that?
