What do polar bears like to eat? Giant blocks of ice embedded with melons! I had no idea. [via Unique Daily]

LOL is this for real? i kinda feel like if I were a polar bear, this would be just mean. I guess he looks happy...

It's like putting dog treats into one of those King or ball toys so they have to work to get it out. Stimulates the brain. Also adorably cute!!
I could put that in a punch bowl!

I thought polar bears were the only bears that were pure carnivores, in contrast to other types of bears which are omnivores.

Nope, they do eat some plants and roots and such when they can find them. They need mostly meat and fat to survive, but they eat other things when they are around.

Looks so refreshing for a summer day!

I've actually been thinking about doing this for my bunny... I mean.. she doesn't swim.. but i think she'd love an icecube.... or a small chunk of fruit encased in an icecube... :) yay!

CUTE. i love me some polar bear.

This is the zoo in Seoul, where summers get to 38C and over!
lucky polar bears!

I'm so glad it was melons encased in a large chunk of ice and not chunks of baby snow seal encased in a large chunk of ice.

@engmcmuffin
