In Videos: Frito Lay's Dips and Chips Animated Commercials

20090312-fritolaycommercials.jpg

When I first came across Frito Lay's Made For Each Other campaign to promote their dips and chips, my first thought was of slight confusion: "Soo...where are the dips and chips?" But then I watched their animated, mildly branded commercials and got sucked in by the cute and whimsical characters, besides that they're just well done. I may not be any more likely to eat Frito Lay chips after watching these commercials, but I do now associate Frito Lay with cute animations. Watch the videos after the jump.

I definitely wasn't thinking "chips & dip" when I saw the ads on TV. I was thinking some ridiculous dating website or singles service.

@shoneyjoe: HAHA, these commercials would be kind of awesome for a dating service. "Even if you're a flaming ball of gas, we'll help you find someone."

Haha, those ads (and the website) are adorable. And awesome. I like the music in the "Circles" one, too.

I love these commercials. They make me smile whenever I catch one on TV.

However, they don't make me want to buy any chips or dip. But I guess that's okay.

Very nice, but like others said, would make more sense for Match.com than Frito-Lay.

The only one that made sense for me was the firesprite, great idea for spicy salsa and chips.

I love the firesprite one, the song is super-catchy and it's just adorable!
