In Videos: Couldn't Fit Another Bite

20090324-couldntfitanotherbite.jpg

"I couldn't fit in another bite. I am so full." When your friends say something like this at the end of a meal, do you go with the flow or say, "Hell no, I'm still hungry," and reach for that uneaten chunk of cake in the center of the table? For all the people who want to reach for the cake, Australian vlogger Natalie Tyler Tran demonstrates how to do it. Also, what to do when faced with a plate of lamingtons your parents wouldn't let you eat as a kid. Watch the video after the jump.

This is dumb, but she's hot.

Now THAT is what I call food porn!

I love Natalie Tran! She's the funniest person on Youtube. Plus, she introduced me to what lamingtons are.

from the RSS feed title, i thought this was going to be the monty python clip!

hmm im a bit irked by the "shes hot" response. now i need to go wiki lamingtons.

"Ironically, Lord Lamington was known to have hated the dessert that had been named in his honour, once referring to them as "those bloody poofy woolly biscuits"."

Recent conversation at a dinner party I attended:

Host: This is a big plate, who wants it?
Biggest Guy in the Room: Give it to Meleyna. She eats a lot.
Me (Meleyna): Thanks, guys. Thanks, a lot.
Another Guest: Well, you do!

Awesome!

Love her accent.

I hate to say it, but I have totally been in her place!

this describes most of my eating experiences with friends all throughout high school and college

Hah! I so understand. :)

The other situation is when the server comes by and asks if anyone wants dessert. EVERYONE remarks how STUFFED they are and I look pleadingly at the server thinking of that fabulous/unusual sounding dessert - the reason I ordered the smallest sounding dish on the menu.

If I'm with my husband, close friends, or close family, I order it anyway. If I'm with acquaintances and not so close family, I go without.

This awesome Asian Ausi makes me hungry for Lamingtons, again!
