Fast Food Near Schools Increases Student Obesity
Researchers from UC Berkeley and Columbia University have found that "Teens who attend classes within one-tenth of a mile of a fast-food outlet are more likely to be obese" than students whose schools are father away from fast-food outlets, the Los Angeles Times reports.

(1) Association is not the same as causation.
(2) Even if there is a causal relationship, let's move beyond thinking there is *one* cause of obesity - everyone seems to have his/her favorite magic bullet to target.

maybe more schools should get on board with the jamie oliver way. what was that series he did on changing the way kids eat in schools. it was great!
