Seems like a lot to spend for novelty. Also a lot of space. Might be fun a few times, but a regular waffle maker seems like a better purchase.

I own this waffle iron and my toddler (and all my adult friends) love it! It makes good waffles and there's nothing like watching a room of grown-ups arguing over who gets the cow. One of the best purchases I made!

I own this waffle iron too. @wunami, because of the ways the shapes fit together, the waffle/machine ratio is only slightly lower than a regular waffle maker. It makes very good waffles and for those who like crispy edges, there is just a little extra crispiness.

I'm with Wunami on this one. Waste of money, waste of resources, waste of room. If you have to have shapes, wouldn't it me better to buy a chicken-shaped cookie cutter?

So, there's two cows and a barn..can anyone please tell me what the misshapen banana is supposed to be?
feriorrenna at 12:19PM on 03/26/09
@feriorenna: A chicken!

Oh....I sorta see it now. I shall think of it as a horrible chicken-banana hybrid. Probably available from Tyson meats next year.

Wouldn't it be weird if you could peel chicken skin off like a banana skin? Maybe chicken nuggets from banana-chickens will be like fried plantains or something.

@feriorenna: That's a pig and a cow, not two cows.
And I think this is just like buying a normal waffle iron. If you already have one, you don't need two. But if this was your only waffle iron, it doesn't matter what shape your waffles are. It's not a waste of money unless you are buying lots of different irons.

Aw... I would buy this waffle iron. Just like I would buy a Hello Kitty Toaster http://www.amazon.com/Hello-Kitty-Toaster-KT5211/dp/B00021HBU4
... if only I had money
