Cute concept, but are people really going to pay for broken dishes? Can they bring him their own cracked dishes and get a discount?

yeah seriously - couldn't you just paint on your own flowers? I appreciate the creativity, but this seems like a stretch.

yeah, i might be a little pissed that the $75 plate broke the first time i tried to wash it because it had a big crack running through it..or just pissed that i had spent $75 on a plate. this could be a cool diy thing but to buy it from a designer, hell no!

I don't think they're still meant to be used as dishes. It's a cute idea.

I don't get it. I wonder if people actually buy these.
In Russia (where I grew up) it was superstitious to keep cracked dishes in your house!

Well...one could wonder about jeans and other clothing. Why would someone buy worn and torn clothing?

Meant to add -- AND spend $200 on it. I used to do it when I was in intermediate school through college (mid-1980s through early '90s).
That stuff is still being sold, so I'm sure someone out there still buys them.
