'Times Online' Lists 50 Best Food Blogs
Times Online runs a list of the "World's 50 Best Food Blogs." For all you folks asking about food blog inspiration in SE Talk, this list is a good place to start. It features some oldie-but-goodies and a fair amount of fun new voices, too.

Props to Serious Eats for being number 8!

Although, this kind of made me wonder whether or not they actually read Serious Eats: "The focus is on American foods such as hot dogs ..."
Um. Ok. I like a hot dog as much as the next ex-Chicagoan, but it's not all about wieners here.

There are a lot of things on that list that make me wonder whether or not they read the blogs. For example... where was Midtown Lunch! :-)

Oh great, more blogs to add to my list and waste the day away ;)

@runnereater: Thanks!
@maered: I think these writers who do these lists probably either read the site only occasionally or get input from other people who read it regularly and then when it comes time to write the blurb go on and sum it up from whatever's on the main page at the time. We do focus a lot on everyday American foods (hot dogs, pizza, burgers, etc.), but I would say SE is far from hot-dog-centric.
