Designer J. Jason Smith took photos of Arabic and English versions of Western packages, mostly food-related, during his trip to Dubai. It's interesting to see how the logos retain their identities in the switch between English and Arabic. [via Brand New]

Now that you guys have pointed out Fido Dido, I realize that I haven't seen him prominently in about 10 years, back when I lived in Taiwan. THE MEMORIIIESS!!

I'm so glad that Fido Dido still has a career...I was worried about him for a while! Now we just need to figure out what other '80s icons are doing for money; like Max Headroom, Spuds Macenzie and the Noid.
