The blog Eat Me Daily takes a look at food-merchandising signs. They're so ubiquitous as to be almost invisible, but when viewed en masse you begin to see a sort of beauty and subtle playfulness in their variation.

Thank you for this. As a former sign maker, it's nice to see a little nod to the craft. Signs are funny thing- the good ones are easy to miss, and the great ones are just as memorable as the hideous ones. There are a lot of good people out there putting a lot of thought and skill into your signs.
