In Videos: Cadbury Eyebrows Dance Commercial

How does a video of two kids performing a synchronized eyebrow dance sell Cadbury milk chocolate? Hell if I know. But I just increased their brand awareness, so I guess it's working. If you think you have eyebrow-dancing chops, sign up for Cadbury's Jivebrow 09. Watch the video after the jump.

I don't know, Robyn. This has disturbed me since the first time I first saw it. Is it fake? A little Industrial Light & Magic? Who knows.

i loved this ad i thought it was so weird and off key but they have put out a few ads like this recently, they had a gorilla playing the drums, and one where airport vehicles raced each other with strobe lighting on - both for no apparent reason

Random. Like it.

Adam, yes it's done digitally

I'm... so confused.

It's called marketing the brand. They're making viral videos so that everyone sends them to their friends and posts them on YouTube saying "OMG look at this!!1!"

That's funny! I love Cadbury,

@Edwardkimuk & everyone in my industry: it's not for no reason, it's because it's fun. It's quite possibly the simplest advertising campaign ever: chocolate is fun. We sell chocolate. Therefore, our ads should be pure fun.

Brilliant.

Cadbury had to recall some chocolate as I understand it. Seems like a strong pr program to get back in the game.
