Guess Who?

And now you see why I needed to post the Colicchio-Bourdain wrap-up as a set-up for this photo.

Alton Brown?

No. Not Alton Brown.

Ed? I'll bet he dropped more than a few pounds when he cut those locks off.

It is ED! Holy WOW. I recognize that face anyplace.

Yes. Ed. He says this was when he was 19.

i'll never complain about a bad hair day again.

What's odd is, no accompanying facial growths. A young man at that time did not feel he had really accomplished anything unless there were trailing moustaches, sideburns and possibly even a full beard. The desired effect was something like what would happen if you burst open a horsehair settee. I commend Ed on his minimalism.

Wow, didn't know they could fit so much hair on a persons head. Impressive!

My goodness, Ed Levine was a ginger? Or is it the sepia tone from the photo?

Cool glasses.

@annien: It looks like he may have been stroking his face where a beard used to be . . . could it be that he just shaved it off?

@Sus: good thought. Maybe he was an eater even then, and didn't want to lose crumbs to the facial foliage.

i'm impressed it's Ed...but I'm surprised how much he looks like AB!

I'd kill for that hair

i knew it was ed immediately!

I had the same hair and glasses.

Ed, I intend to find out which fellow Grinnell grad breached the trust that all assume existed before Facebook -- certainly, we all worry that there are college photos out there that could damage any ambitions no matter how modest.

That is one screamin' firehair!
